Johnson Creek SRTF (Balfour House)
July 19, 2010 – Dr. Andrew Axer briefed NDA Chairman Matt Rinker, Secretary Bryan Dorr, and Milwaukie Police Chief Bob Jordan regarding an unsuccessful escape attempt incident at the facility. The resident who attempted to escape has been returned to the hospital.
Mar. 19, 2010 – The Johnson Creek SRTF is now open and the residents have moved in since mid-February. Some Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood board members and resident, along with Milwaukie Police chief Bob Jordan, met with Dr. Andrew Axer and the residents at the facility last Monday to receive updates on the facility and ask questions about the facility. The monthly “system” meeting is part of the Good NeighborAgreement .
Jan.21, 2010 – The opening of the Johnson Creek SRTF is still on hold. Weather has been delaying some finishing work before occupancy permits can be issued. SE Balfour St. still needs surface paving.
