UPDATED Dec. 21, 2009 — Well, we just finished delivering the last presents to the families this morning and I wanted to thank everyone for the amazing job you did in helping your neighbors celebrate this holiday season!  Both moms were so touched by your thoughtfulness and generosity that they started crying, and I know that they will cry more when they open the wonderful presents you gave to them!  Sharing and caring is the spirit of the season, and you made it happen!

I also wanted to give a special thank you to our Christmas elves this year: Jeff and Chris Davis and Matt Rinker for helping deliver the presents (including a queen mattress and box spring) in the pouring rain, and going the extra mile!  Kudos to you!  (It made me think of last year when Marten and Cindy Wilkens were our Christmas elves and braved the huge amounts of snow to deliver the presents to Ardenwald families… and pulled a car off the railroad tracks, but that is another story…  I believe we rank with the U.S. Postal Service in many regards!)

Thank you again for everything you did and do, and keep making a difference in your community!
