Summer Reading Program
Every summer, children are invited to participate in the Neighborhood’s Summer Reading Program. Volunteers are recruited to read to and hear the children read. Books are provided for the event and the North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District Rec Mobile is also on site.
Ukulele lessons are also available at the event for those children interested in learning to play a musical instrument.
The Summer Reading Program and Rec Mobile is every Tuesday in July, 10 a.m.-noon at Ardenwald Park, 3667 S.E. Roswell St., Milwaukie.
The event is free. A parent or guardian must fill out a registration form on-site before child may attend. Children under the age of 6 must have a parent or guardian present.
