Hi all Friends of Tideman Johnson,
Well, I’m glad that heat wave is over! Time to think about fall stuff, right?
Starting on October 1st, we’ll begin our fall schedule of Tideman Johnson work parties on the first Saturday of the month:
- October 1
- November 5
- December 3
9 am – noon. Tools and refreshments provided. As always, volunteers of all ages are welcome.
If you know a community or school group that might be interested in joining us, please pass along their contact info and I’ll follow up with them.
Everything in the park is looking a little crispy these days. But, I still look around and marvel at how much of the park we have improved over the last 4 years. Its amazing to see such a natural space in the city, with a beautiful creek running through it. I just love that a small, dedicated group can make such a visible difference.
I hope you can find some time to join us now and again, and to enjoy Tideman Johnson Park.
Marianne
