Summer Activities for Kids in Ardenwald Park

Ardenwald Park is on Roswell Street at Southeast 36th Avenue.

Summer Reading Program every Thursday in July, 10 am - Noon

The Ardenwald Johnson Creek Neighborhood Association is joined this year by the Hector Campbell Neighborhood Association in sponsoring the annual Summer Reading in Ardenwald Park program. Children of all ages are invited to join neighborhood volunteers at the park from 10 a.m. until noon every Thursday in July. The two neighborhood associations will provide free books, plus volunteers to read to the kids. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

There will also be free ukulele lessons for interested kids. Ukuleles will be available to use for the lessons.

Free summer lunch for kids served Monday - Thursday, June 19 - August 17, Noon - 12:45

Lunches are offered through the Federal Summer Food Program.
