Ardenwald Sign Missing at S.E. 32nd Ave.

  • The Ardenwald sign at S.E. 32nd Ave. traffic island near S.E. Meeks St. was vandalized in June. More details will be discussed at the neighborhood meeting on Tues., Sept. 14, 2010. Treasurer Joe Campbell has the damaged sign.

Balfour Street Park

  • Public input for ideas and suggestions for the Balfour Street Park is being accepted at the Summer Concerts in the Park. If you have any ideas, please show up at Ardenwald Park, every Thursday night in August, from 7 p.m. to dusk.
  • Donations are still being accepted. Funds are needed to develop a master plan and a conceptual drawing. More info…

Johnson Creek SRTF System Meetings

  • On Aug. 16, 2010, Milwaukie Police Chief and an officer, two NDA leaders and an NDA resident met with the facility staff and residents for status report and discussions regarding facility and neighborhood concerns and questions. The next system briefing meeting will be Mon., Sept. 13th.

Road/Trail Constructions

  • Springwater Corridor Repaving: Update Aug. 16, 2010-Springwater Trail between S.E. 28th Ave. and S.E. Linwood Ave. is open to bike and pedestrian traffic. Detours have been removed. Watch for open holes for bollards (fenced with orange vinyl fencing). Stretch between S.E. Linwood and I-205 is now closed for repaving and detour is in place.
