The Sellwood Bridge will be closed from 5:00 a.m. January 17 to 7:00 a.m. January 24, 2013, for the bridge construction. On January 19 (weather permitting), the main steel truss span will move downstream onto the temporary steel piers. The closure applies to vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians.
The relocated main span will act as a temporary detour bridge while the new bridge is constructed.
