Gravel Connection to Springwater from SE 28th and Sherrett Scheduled to be Paved

Excellent news! That dangerous section of gravel path connecting the AJC neighborhood to the Springwater Corridor at SE 28th and Sherrett will be paved. I use it almost everyday, and I have seen more than one bicyclist wipe out there (I’ve had a few close calls, too!). Thanks to the City of Milwaukie for doing this before the rains start?it will make bike/walk commuting much safer along that route!

Milwaukie’s free leaf drop-off program has added a new location for 2015, but it comes with a restriction. The new location this year is at the city parking lot across Milwaukie City Hall (10722 SE Main St., Milwaukie). The downtown Milwaukie drop-off location will accept leaves in paper or plastic bags, but not open or loose leaves.
