If you didn’t already know, then you’re about to find out: We’ve got artists in this neighborhood! Not only that, but one currently has her art on display at the Ledding Library. The show includes:
- Paintings by Milwaukie’s Val Hubbard (ValHubbard.com) in her signature style of abstract landscapes.
- Portraits by AJC’s own Ariella-Sophie Sternberg (BlueHeronDancing.com), drawn with her left hand while recovering from a break to her dominant arm. She describes these portraits as “honoring some sweet friends who have given me a boost while I’ve been laid low.”
To see the show, just head to the Library (map it: 10660 SE 21st Ave.) during its open hours, go in the main entrance, and you’ll find the show in the Community Room, immediately to your left. Admission is free, and the show will be up through the end of July.
