If you’re new to Ardenwald-Johnson Creek (and/or this website), this page will get you started. Of course you’re welcome to explore the site using the menu above, but the links below will take you through some highlights. Welcome and enjoy!

Practical Stuff
Services & Resources: Our Services page helps with your more pressing matters, like directions to our closest ER and how to contact your police and fire services. Our Community Resources page provides links to a variety of regional resources: city governments, libraries, park districts, Metro, TriMet, how to contact your legislators, and more.
Neighborhood boundaries: Not sure whether something is inside or outside the neighborhood? Here’s a Google map of the AJC boundaries.
Schools: Our Schools page includes details on Ardenwald Elementary, plus other nearby schools.
Things to Do
Event Calendar: Our Upcoming Neighborhood Events & Meetings calendar includes everything from neighborhood meetings to volunteer events to social gatherings. (Are we missing an event that you’d like publicized? Let us know!)
Parks: See our Parks page to learn about each of AJC’s four parks.
Businesses: Most months, the neighborhood newsletter features a different AJC-based business. Our Newsletter Archive includes these archived features (scroll down to the “Local Business Spotlight” in each issue) and direct links to each business.
August Concerts: Our major event of the year, the August Concerts feature a different band performing each Thursday night in August in Ardenwald Park. When August is drawing near, check the Concerts page for details on each performance.

Your Neighborhood Association
Newsletter: The monthly AJC newsletter keeps you informed on local events, issues, and initiatives. Browse past issues on our Neighborhood Newsletter page and subscribe via the “Stay Updated” sign-up to the right (on desktop) or below (on mobile).
Meetings: If you live, work, or own land in AJC, you’re already part of the Neighborhood Association, so why not attend a meeting? Details are on our Meetings page. Newcomers and new ideas are always welcome!
Vacancies & Needs: Want to get more involved in the Neighborhood Association? Check out the Vacancies & Needs page to see what opportunities are available. Or pitch your idea for a whole new role!
Flag: What is that mostly blue flag you’re seeing around AJC? See our Flag page for our neighborhood flag’s symbolism, where you can buy one, and more.
