Saturday 7/11: Come See Us (plus Do Other Things) at Milwaukie Fest!

If you find yourself at Milwaukie Fest this weekend, why not come and visit our booth? Yes, your Ardenwald-Johnson Creek neighborhood association will be there with flags and stickers for sale, info on our upcoming August Concerts, a sign-up sheet for any poor souls who aren’t yet on our mailing list, and just some people happy to chat!

  • When: Saturday, July 11, 10am – 5pm
  • Where: Downtown Milwaukie; our booth will be near SE Main & Jefferson (map it)

And rumor has it that one of our neighboring booths will be a funeral home. So that’s fun!

For the full list of scheduled revels (in addition to all the vendors) at Milwaukie Fest, see the official schedule here.

Bonus Event: Are you a runner, walker, or casual stroller? Have you considered running the Milwaukie Mile prior to Milwaukie Fest? Doing so will not only support the Milwaukie High School Cross Country team, but also enable you to attend Milwaukie Fest with a virtuous radiance that will win friends and blind your enemies. Sign up today!

Another Bonus Event! Before attending Milwaukie Fest, would you rather pitch in to clean up nearby Kellogg Creek (9am to noon)? No experience necessary! You can use a canoe to fish trash out of the water or pick up trash on dry land. For the full details and to sign up, go here and scroll down to Kellogg Creek Cleanup.

Yet Another Bonus Event? Why, Yes. Why not sponsor a rubber duck in the Duck Race at 1pm? All proceeds support the North Clackamas Watersheds Council and the Milwaukie Parks Foundation. Sponsoring a duck is $5, and the winner gets a $150 prize (with $100 and $50 prizes for 2nd and 3rd place, respectively). To sponsor your duck(s), send an email to info@milwaukieparksfoundation.org.
