Carefree Sunday Opens Neighborhood Streets to Bicycle, Pedestrians Only

This Sunday, nearly 3.5 miles of neighborhood streets will temporarily open for bicycles and pedestrians only for part of the day.

Milwaukie’s Carefree Sunday on August 4, 2019, opens the neighborhood streets for the people to connect with the community, minus the cars.

In Ardenwald, some streets will be closed to cars on August 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The sections closed are SE 42nd Ave. between SE Mason and SE Olsen streets, SE Olsen St. between SE 40th and SE 42nd avenues, and SE 40th Ave. between SE Olsen St. and SE Monroe St.
