The Tideman Johnson Park work party for Saturday, December 7, 2013, has been canceled due to frigid weather.
The weather on planting day is calling for high temperatures near freezing.
“I know we’re all pretty tough, but our little plants are sensitive and don’t love going into the frozen ground,” said Marianne Colgrove of Friends of Tideman Johnson Park.
Colgrove said the December work party has been rescheduled to Saturday, January 4, 2014, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Tideman Johnson Park.
