The Milwaukie Police Department, in partnership with Providence Milwaukie Hospital and their Community Health in Motion Program, will host a prescription drug turn-in day.
Designed to raise awareness of the abuse of prescription drugs, and to keep potentially dangerous drugs out of landfills and waterways, this event allow citizens to anonymously drop off unneeded or expired prescription drugs for safe disposal.
The event will be held Saturday, April 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Milwaukie Public Safety Building, 3200 SE Harrison Street, in Milwaukie.
