When it comes time to take down your Xmas tree, consider donating it to the North Clackamas Watersheds Council, who will be installing the donated trees in the waterways near Elk Rock Island to create shelter and resting spots for young salmon making their way out to sea. To donate your tree, bring it:
- When: January 10, anytime between 10am and 2pm
- Where: North Clackamas Park, Parking Area A (map it)
- With: A $5 donation to help fund this effort
