City of Milwaukie is hosting a workshop for neighborhood association leaders, neighborhood members, and the public about the simple and effective digital communication tools for neighborhood news and activities.
The workshop covers the basic level of how to set up a blog using Blogger, using and managing email lists applications like ChimpMail , and working with social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.
Guest speakers are Sarah Smith from the Hector Campbell NDA and Bryan Dorr from the Ardenwald NDA.
The Easy Digital Tools Workshop is on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Milwaukie Public Safety Building, 3200 S.E. Harrison St. in Milwaukie. The workshop is free to the public and all are welcome to attend.
