Hi all Friends of Tideman Johnson, and Happy New Year!
You know how all the lovely spring flowers and grasses in the park make it really hard to find the weeds later in the year? Well, we’re going to take care of that little problem, this Saturday. Target: ivy and blackberry in the woodland.
After all this rain, the weeds will be easy pulling, and the weather is even supposed to be kind of nice by the weekend.
Saturday, February 2nd, 9am – noon
Meet near the boardwalk at the base of SE 37th
Tools and refreshments provided
Volunteers of all ages are welcome
