Join the Johnson Creek Watershed Council, in partnership with the Overland Park Coalition on Saturday, August 25, 2012 to help clean up Johnson Creek to improve aquatic habitat and wildlife.
The clean-up will organize at 8:45 a.m. Mill Park (S.E. Linwood Ave. and S.E. Bell Ave.) and work until 12:00 p.m. A celebratory barbecue sponsored by Fred Meyer will take place afterwards from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The event is open to all ages. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Closed toe shoes are required (no sandals) and bring work gloves.
