Ardenwald resident Elizabeth Young was unanimously nominated to the Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Membership Committee chair at Tuesday’s neighborhood meeting, filling in the remainder of former Membership chair Jill Younce’s term.
Young was unanimously nominated at Tuesday’s neighborhood meeting after Younce resigned because of moving out of the neighborhood.
Before leaving, Younce was heavily active in neighborhood activities and committees. She was also active with the Balfour House Secure Residential Treatment Facility subcommittee that was formed over a year ago to address the issues of the controversial new SRTF.
At the Tuesday neighborhood meeting, cake, pie, brownies were served as board members and guests wished Younce farewell and congratulated Young her new position.
