Neighborhood Main Street Code Amendments Comments, Hearing

The Milwaukie Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., at the Milwaukie City Hall ( 10722 SE Main St., Milwaukie), to consider proposed amendments to the Milwaukie Zoning Map and use, development, and design standards for the “neighborhood main street” commercial areas of 32nd and 42nd Avenues (Land Use File #ZA-2015-002), which are part of the Move Forward Milwaukie project.

The public is invited to attend these hearings or submit comments in writing before the meeting time. The public can send written comments in advance to Li Alligood, Milwaukie Senior Planner via email (AlligoodL@milwaukieoregon.gov) or mail to 6101 SE Johnson Creek Blvd, Milwaukie, OR 97206, or submit comments in person at the hearing.

In order to ensure that staff can consider public comments and share them with the Planning Commission at the first public hearing, comments must be received by end of the day on Friday, October 2. Comments will be accepted after that date but staff will not be able to address them before the hearing.

This is a Type V Legislative Review. After the Planning Commission makes a recommendation, City Council will hold one or more public hearings. The City Council will make the final decision.

Contact Li Alligood via email AlligoodL@milwaukieoregon.gov or phone 503-786-7627 with questions about the application or proposed amendments.
