A few neighborhood streets projects are underway this week.
- The new Tacoma St./Johnson Creek entrance work will begin this Thursday, August 27 for several weekdays during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Workers will narrow Tacoma St. at the Park & Ride entrance. Flaggers will be directing traffic.
- Street art painting will take place at SE Sherrett St. and SE 30th Ave. on Sunday, August 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., which may require street closure in the area.
- Jennifer Koozer of Trimet updated on the traffic signal at SE 32nd Ave. and SE Johnson Creek Blvd., saying there has been some delays in receiving vehicle detection equipment and will be a few more weeks before the signals are activated.
