Friends of Tideman Johnson this fall

Howdy all Friends of Tideman Johnson, and Happy Labor Day!

I know this seems like an endless summer, but it really will be fall sometime (really!) and it’s not to soon to start thinking about Tideman Johnson restoration activities this fall.

We’ll meet on the first Saturday of the month, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., starting in October. Here’s the schedule (and I’ll send a reminder the week before we meet):

  • October 7
  • November 4
  • December 2

And, there’s always snacks, coffee, and camaraderie!

It’s hard to believe Friends of Tideman Johnson has been going strong for 10 years now. That’s right, in 2007 we got our first Community Watershed Stewardship grant, and started our long term relationships with Portland Parks & Recreation and the Johnson Creek Watershed Council. I’ve attached a few pics from our Fall 2007 restoration events – we really have transformed Tideman Johnson Park for the better!

I hope to see you all in October!
