Portland Police: Teen Injured In Sunday Shooting

Portland Police have released the following press release on Sunday regarding a shooting incident early Sunday morning:

On Sunday February 18, 2018, at 2:07 a.m., Central Precinct officers responded to the report of a shooting in the area of Southeast 36th Avenue and Van Water Street.

Officers and medical personnel arrived and contacted the 16-year-old female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

Officers located a crime scene in the street at Southeast 36th Avenue and Van Water Street where evidence was collected by investigators. Officers did not learn of any suspect information.
