This Saturday is the Johnson Creek Watershed Council‘s annual Watershed Wide Event! At eight separate sites in the Johnson Creek Watershed, volunteers will be planting thousands of native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers to provide food and habitat for our wild pollinators, songbirds, amphibians, salmon, and more. Certain sites might include other jobs, like weeding and litter pick-up. And volunteers will get a free lunch!
No experience is necessary; just dress for the weather, and all tools and training will be provided. Certain sites still need volunteers, and there’s still time to sign up! The details:
- When: Saturday, March 7, 2026, 8:45am – Noon
- Where: One of the eight sites along Johnson Creek
- Where to RSVP and pick your site: https://www.jcwc.org/events/2026-watershed-wide-event/
We hope to see you there. Our wild critters thank you in advance, and once again: free lunch!
