The Ardenwal-Johnson Creek Neighborhood Association has called for a special meeting for Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be at Milwaukie Grind, 9401 S.E. 32nd Ave. in Milwaukie.
A land-use item regarding the proposed development on S.E. Berkley Way and the coal train discussion are on the agenda.
The Neighborhood Association will discuss the proposed coal train shipments through Milwaukie, which affects residents in the Ardenwald neighborhood residing next to the railroad tracks.
A representative from the Portland Chapter of the Sierra Club will be providing a presentation. The Neighborhood Association is the having a discussion and then vote to support or oppose coal train shipment through the neighborhood.
