Heads up, everyone who uses King Road: Starting Monday, September 21, paving on King will make the street open to eastbound traffic only between SE 43rd (where the Safeway is) and Linwood. All westbound traffic will be detoured along the route shown below. By paving two lanes on King (and leaving only a single eastbound lane open), they aim to avoid the paving extending into spring 2027 if wet weather in October causes delays.
