If you’re new to the Ardenwald Crop Swap, this is a regular Sunday gathering at Ardenwald Park where neighbors exchange the fruits of their gardens and kitchens (actual fruits, plus veggies, herbs, flowers, baked goods, etc.) and have some neighborly social time.
With the spring still young and many gardens not yet in full production mode, this inaugural event will be a Start Swap to get swappers well equipped for the season. Quoth the organizers:
“Bring any extra flower and vegetable starts (even those extracted spring volunteers), as well as seeds, planting trays and pots, and other excess garden supplies to trade and share with neighbors. Nothing to offer? No worries, come kit yourself out to start your garden and grab what someone else is no longer using.”
So the Start Swap is happening:
- When: Sunday, May 3, 2026, 10am – noon
- Where: Ardenwald Park (map it)
The exact schedule for this year’s ongoing Crop Swaps remains TBD, but watch their Facebook page for the latest, and email ardenwald.cropswap@gmail.com with any questions!
