Take the “Walk Safely Milwaukie Program” questionnaire

(Updated Feb. 1, 2011, 8:05 a.m.) The Ardenwald-Johnson Creek Neighborhood Association is asking for your input regarding the new Walk Safely Milwaukie Program, a three-year pilot project adopted by the City of Milwaukie that permits funding for improving walkability in the community .

Your input will help the Neighborhood Association include safety and accessibility improvements included in the NDA’s Walk Safely Milwaukie Report to the City of Milwaukie that is due on Feb. 15, 2011.

Residents from other Milwaukie Neighborhood Associations and Ardenwald-JC residents in the Portland city limits are encouraged to  fill out the questionnaire.

Some of the ideas for the program can include traffic calming, pedestrian safety, improving pedestrian access, and signage.

WSMP projects (if approved) can only be implemented within the Milwaukie city limits.
