Girder placement on the new light rail bridge will impact northbound SE McLoughlin Blvd. (Ore. 99E) traffic and access to SE Tacoma St. (via the SE Tenino St. viaduct).
The ramp will be closed Friday, December 7, at 10:00 p.m. and will reopen by Saturday, December 8, at 5:00 a.m. Traffic will be detoured via SE 17th Ave. or SE Ochoco St.
The exit lane on SE McLoughlin northbound to SE Tacoma St. ramp will be closed at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7; Monday, December 10; and Tuesday, December 11. Lanes will reopen at 5:00 a.m. the next day.
The girder placement work takes place within the Portland city limits at night. A noise variance was approved by the City of Portland.
